Larva Apod 30 mm – A New Size in the Harmony Baits Range
Share
After a lot of consideration, I decided to discontinue the 28 mm version of Larva Apod and replace it with a new size – Larva Apod 30 mm.
The reason is quite simple. Over time, the 28 mm version never became as popular as the other sizes in the Larva Apod series. Personally, I also felt that this lure was slightly too small. That is why I decided to take a small step forward and move to a more universal size.
The new Larva Apod 30 mm (1.18”) weighs 0.77 g (0.027 oz) and comes in packs of 11 lures. At first glance, the difference between 28 mm and 30 mm may seem small, but in practice, the lure has become more versatile and easier to use in a wider range of fishing situations. It perfectly complements the existing Larva Apod sizes of 37 mm and 43 mm, allowing anglers to match their lure more precisely to fishing conditions and fish activity.

This new size is especially well suited for trout fishing, chub fishing, and targeting other cautious fish in rivers, streams, creeks, and small waters. Its compact profile, natural appearance, and lifelike action make it an excellent choice for ultralight fishing, Trout Area competitions, and river fishing throughout the season.
At the same time, anglers who liked the 28 mm size do not need to worry. I actually planned for this a long time ago when I created the Apod Multi 28x4. That is why the 28 mm size is not completely disappearing from the Harmony Baits range.
Apod Multi consists of four connected 28 mm Larva Apod bodies. They can be used as one lure or easily separated into individual sections, creating compact micro lures for the most delicate fishing situations. In practice, it is the same Larva Apod 28 mm, but in a more versatile and multifunctional design.
Larva Apod has become one of the most important models in the Harmony Baits range, and I wanted to make this series as logical and user-friendly as possible. That is why the 28 mm version is being replaced by the new 30 mm size.
The Larva Apod series will now be available in three main sizes: 30 mm (1.18”), 37 mm (1.46”), and 43 mm (1.69”). This makes it easier to choose the right lure for different fishing conditions and situations. I believe this updated lineup will be more practical and easier to understand for both long-time Harmony Baits customers and anglers discovering the brand for the first time.
As always, I will be happy to see your fishing photos and hear your feedback about the new size.
